Job Summary
The Operational Improvements & Efficiencies Analyst is a crucial asset to our organization, responsible for empowering operational shared services and medical center leadership with the necessary knowledge and tools to excel in managing key performance indicators (KPIs). This role is instrumental in driving operational excellence by transforming data into actionable insights, thereby enhancing overall operational performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop regular reports for local site leaders, national leaders, and the executive leadership team.
- Generate ad hoc reports as necessary to provide sites with essential information for achieving KPIs.
- Produce operational and productivity reports to bolster policy and process adherence.
- Conduct training sessions for site leadership on understanding KPIs, reporting, and relevant operational applications.
- Analyze data from EMR, Medical Economics, Population Health Management, or other applications as needed.
- Shadow staff members from various departments to observe processes firsthand and assess effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Collaborate on ad-hoc projects as assigned to contribute to ongoing operational improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’ degree or higher in healthcare or business-related field or 2-4 years' practical experience within a healthcare organization.
- 3+ years of experience in developing Excel reports, analyzing data, and developing reports.
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement and development.
- 3+ years of proven ability to summarize data into meaningful insights and provide process improvement recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with a high level of comfort using Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Ability to build strong networks and relationships with diverse, multidisciplinary teams, including medical providers, contractors, technology teams, vendors, and executive-level leadership.
- Experience with learning new technology or modifying workflows to align with organizational objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, ensuring thorough completion of all task aspects.
- Ability to travel to AbsoluteCare Centers as needed.
