Job Summary

 

This role is responsible for delivering eCW training, assisting in the implementation of new features/modules, and addressing tickets in a timely manner. The EHR Operations Analyst will serve as the internal subject matter expert for eCW functionality and AbsoluteCare workflows.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct foundational training of eCW functionality and workflows for new hires that meets the need of the organization.
  • Assist in developing training documentation, provide training (virtual and onsite), and go-live support for eCW implementations.
  • Participate in upgrades and new functionality deployments which include but is not limited to build, testing, devising workflows, developing documentation, videos, training, and support.
  • Assist EHR Manager in ongoing projects/implementations which includes but is not limited to researching, testing, and demoing new features/modules.
  • Manage and resolve Help Desk requests and incidents that are assigned via the service desk ticketing system. Ensuring to follow standard operating procedures where applicable or defining new SOPs where needed.
  • Coordinate second and third level support to resolve issues with the systems vendor.
  • Complete system modifications or change requests following the change management process.
  • Perform necessary trainings for implementation of new eCW features and modules.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining training content and documentation.
  • Provides end user support during implementation; able to serve as an application and workflow expert to assist in application roll-out. Partner with IT Team to troubleshoot and keep eCW versions and plug-ins consistent for all eCW end users.
  • Create, maintain, and terminate role-based access for colleagues eCW in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure preparations have been completed to conduct a seamless training which includes but is not limited to creating users accounts in Train and Production environments, configure settings by role, etc.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues/errors in eCW.
  • Collaborate with EHR Manager, Clinical Applications to ensure smooth ongoing operations of eCW.
  • Able to concisely demonstrate system functionality to end users with or without the assistance of other team members.
  • Demonstrates a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers and consistently adheres to Customer Service standards.
  • Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years work experience required in direct experience in Electronic Health Record training, implementation, and support.
  • SME level of experience in eCW (technical interview will be required).
  • Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.
  • Effective customer service delivery, with strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work East Coast business hours and available to travel up to 35%.
  • Experience with providing IT/EHR Support.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and find solutions to EHR issues.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment.

 

 

Working conditions

This job operates in a remote location from your home location.  This role requires a dedicated, quiet workspace with the ability to adhere to HIPPA and other privacy policies.  A reliable and high-speed Wi-Fi connection or home internet is required to perform the essential functions of this role.
