Job Summary

 

This role is responsible for executing on large scale project initiatives for assigned clinical applications.  The Product Analyst will apply knowledge of healthcare operations and experience in clinical applications to provide support across the design, development, testing, and implementation of new modules and features for assigned clinical applications.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Implement large scale initiatives independently or as part of a team.
  • Inform the Product Owner, Clinical Applications of enhancements, new features, modules, etc. that are available in assigned clinical applications.
  • Research, implement and conduct continuous optimization of features, modules, products, and training.
  • Document and maintain clinical application configurations.
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert for configuration, integration, and maintenance of assigned clinical applications.
  • Assist Product Owner, Clinical Applications to develop and lead the process for patches and upgrades for all assigned clinical applications to ensure applications remain up to date.
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of integrations of assigned clinical applications.
  • Responsible for the design, implementation and initial support of new modules/features in assigned clinical applications.
  • Assist in developing training documentation, provide training (virtual and onsite), and go-live support for clinical application implementations.
  • Participate in upgrades and new functionality deployments which include but is not limited to build, testing, devising workflows, developing documentation, videos, training, and support.
  • Assist Clinical Applications Product Owner and Clinical Applications Manager(s) in projects/implementations which include but is not limited to researching, testing, and demoing new features/modules.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues/errors in assigned clinical applications.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Applications team members to ensure smooth ongoing operations of Clinical Applications.
  • Work with key stakeholders to build and optimize relevant content in assigned clinical applications.
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Security Teams to troubleshoot issues that have impacted end user experience in assigned clinical applications.
  • Delivers work within established timeframes. Must be able to manage/multi-task on several small to large, assigned projects.
  • Provides end user support during implementation; able to serve as an application and workflow expert to assist in application roll-out.
  • Demonstrates a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers and consistently adheres to Customer Service standards.
  • Participates in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities.
  • Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 5-10 years’ work experience required in direct experience in Electronic Health Record training, implementation, and support.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in eCW, Jiva, or PioneerRX.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in Pharmacy applications.
  • Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.
  • Effective customer service delivery, with strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work East Coast business hours and available to travel up to 35%.
  • Experience with leading large scale projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and find solutions to EHR issues.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment.

 

Working conditions

 

This job operates in a professional office environment and remotely from home office space.   This role routinely uses general office equipment.

  • Constantly operates computer, keyboard, copy and fax machine, phone, and other general office equipment.
