Job Summary

This roles primary responsibilities are to provide day to day oversight and leadership for various departments involved in implementation and growth. These departments may include Market Implementation; Real Estate and Facilities; Account Management/ Client Success; and Enterprise Project Management.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Market Implementation:

  • Ensure on-time and on-budget implementations. Implementations can include:
    • De-novo/new markets with integrated care center buildouts
    • Tuck-in payer contracts to existing markets
    • Conversion of existing payer contracts from non-risk to risk
    • Retrofits of existing integrated care centers
  • Develop distinct operational playbooks and enterprise tools for all implementations to ensure standardization and scalability of on-time/on-budget projects across a variety of geographies and use cases
  • Evaluate avenues to optimize implementation timelines
  • Develop standardized approach to clinics for standard model as well as smaller “micro” footprints for smaller market opportunities

Real Estate and Facilities:

  • Grow and maintain enterprise real estate portfolio
  • Ensure timely and on-budget construction of new centers
  • Conduct routine facilities management and procurement evaluations to timely identify areas for remediation or assess expansion or improvement opportunities
  • Establish procurement standards and develop tools to track and present information to C-suite executives
  • Select and manage internal and external partners to deliver the above (e.g., architects, real estate brokers, security, cleaning, furniture, fixtures, medical equipment, etc.).

Growth

  • Initial Market General Manager for de-novo markets; ensure successful onboarding/ transition of Market General Manager 
  • Development of playbooks for new critical market initiatives (e.g., FFS HIV, ED Diversion)
  • Assist C-suite team with enterprise strategic priorities

Account Management/ Client Success:

  • Collaborate with Chief Business Development Officer to manage national account portfolio
  • Developing tracking tools and standardized approaches for governance and tracking
  • Leverage Account Management & Client Success resources to support accounts as needed
  • Provide regular updates/reports to C-suite executives that accurately track account activity, issues and complaints, and resolution pathways.
  • Implement/generate a year-end retrospective summary on the state of each payer relationship to aid company-wide strategic planning.

Enterprise Project Management:

  • Establish structure for ePMO at AbsoluteCare
  • Manage the PMO and provide executive level oversight of all programs (business and IT)
  • Leverage PMO resources to support both programs and functions as needed
  • Ensure development of product development plans, including realistic timelines, budget, risk assessment and contingency planning
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and organizational support for the execution of the operational plan
  • Communicate progress of all programs through activities including Governance Committee reviews and development of program dashboards
  • Ensure on time and on budget delivery of all technological platforms and tools
  • Ensure appropriate governance review of program activities, including capturing and communicating key decisions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field preferred
  • Required 7 years of experience in managed care in a health plan or medical group setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to identify research and make decisions based on the day-to-day and vendor problems.
  • Ability to think strategically and to understand the underlying business needs.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate results while ensuring departmental needs are met.
  • Proven success in preparing and delivering presentations that convey information critical to the audience and adjusting to meet changing audience needs.
  • Ability to listen and understand information and ideas whether presented verbally or written.
  • Able to interact easily and appropriately with internal and external individuals with a professional demeanor.
  • Experience leading, training, and managing a team with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead cross functional internal teams to execute on complex tasks in a growing and changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational, project and program management skills; experience leading change and implementing programs.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to communicate data concisely and clearly to a variety of audiences.
