Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm No evenings, no weekends, no major holidays

The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Maintaining/building schedules within a EMR system, perform tracking to ensure routes are met within the expected timeframe,
• manage van inspections and vehicle maintenance services as well as transports AbsoluteCare medical patients to and from many different medical venues including appointments for AbsoluteCare office, home, hospital, emergency room. 
• Extensive knowledge of local routes and roads and the ability to navigate them efficiently.
• The Transportation Coordinator will analyze cost and recommend more cost-effective methods of transportation. 
• Update and provide tracking information to members as well as to internal managers.
• Assign drivers to routes to avoid possible delays, handle member complaints, and investigate issues. 
• Records driver concerns along with policy violations and direct main issues to Operations Director. 
• Ensure to dispatch all company drivers.

Education and Experience:

• AA degree in business management or certificate in logistics or related field.
• 2+ years prior experience as a transport coordinator or a similar role
• 2+ years full-time experience providing vehicle transportation to passengers with medical needs or disability needs.
• Great experience and track record with 5-star customer service.
• Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification required, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record and criminal history record; ability to pass a full background check.
• Maintain valid driver's license, physical exam certifications
