The New Member Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for outreaching to potential new members referred by health plans, educating them on AbsoluteCare, enrolling them as a new member, and transporting members to the AbsoluteCare office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Team Lead to execute creative outreach strategies that will:

  • Be in the community as the “feet on the street” to locate and engage potential new members from a targeted list, who might be hard to reach or locate
  • Attract potential members to enroll at AbsoluteCare as their PCP
  • Effectively explain the benefits of enrolling at AbsoluteCare
  • Outreach to families and/or caregivers
  • Schedule potential members for a tour of the center
  • Transport members to the center in your personal vehicle who:
  • Are scheduled for a tour (possibly the same day they are located)
  • Are scheduled for their New Member Appointment (scheduled from the tour)
  • Report and enter daily outreach activities into CRM and update member’s /potential member’s addresses and phone numbers as needed.
  • Successfully locate hard to find members utilizing creative strategies
  • Enroll new members who choose AbsoluteCare as their new PCP
  • Establish trust and build meaningful relationships with members/potential members
  • Promote AbsoluteCare medical center as the “Go-To” resource for our members instead of using the emergency room or other fragmented higher cost medical resources
  • Instill and promote AbsoluteCare’s 5-star customer service philosophy in the medical center and in the community by promoting the AbsoluteCare Way

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Extensive knowledge of Greenbelt (zip codes, neighborhoods, homeless shelters, etc.)
  • 2 years of outreach experience, specifically working in community, health, or social services.
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle and be willing to use for transport (Only candidates that meet this requirement should apply)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to creatively locate members
  • Personal and professional passion to help improve healthcare delivery
  • Demonstrated respect for and experience with culturally diverse communities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse population
  • Strategic thinker: ability to analyze, develop and implement non-traditional solutions with results, understanding patient population and financial constraints
  • Ability to multi-task, highly organized, and great communication skills
  • Excels in developing real-world solutions and is quick to resolve and overcome obstacles
  • Creative and enthusiastic
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, using emails, entering documentation into CRM, with the ability to learn new computer software
  • Team and customer service oriented
  • Previous Sales Experience Highly Preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Daily travel to local regions, using personal vehicle to transport members and search for members
